A surreal journey across the salt flats

I was amazed from the very first stop at the Train Graveyard, where our guide shared stories about Bolivia’s mining era. Visiting Colchani to see salt processing gave me a real sense of local life. Crossing the salt flats was like driving across the sky itself. When the sunset turned the white desert into a mirror and we raised a glass of wine, I knew this would be a memory I’d carry forever.
