The most magical day of my travels

This tour through the Uyuni Salt Flats was the highlight of my entire South America trip. The day began with a stop at the Train Graveyard, where the old locomotives seemed frozen in time, telling the story of Bolivia’s mining past. We continued to Colchani, where I loved watching the locals process salt and sell their crafts. Driving across the endless white flats was otherworldly. My favorite moment was climbing Isla Incahuasi to see the giant cacti and the panoramic views. The day ended with a spectacular sunset reflected perfectly on the salt, while we toasted with wine in complete silence—a memory I will treasure forever.
