Itinerary

Tour starts at 10:30 a.m.

Visit:

  • Train Graveyard – Explore the rusting remains of Bolivia’s first locomotives, now one of Uyuni’s most iconic photo spots.
  • Colchani Village – Visit local salt workshops and browse handicrafts made from salt, alpaca, and llama wool.
  • Uyuni Salt Flats – Journey across the endless white desert and visit:
    • Ojos de Agua Salada (Saltwater Eyes)
    • Salt Hotel Museum & Playa Blanca
    • Flags of the World
    • Dakar Monument
    • Incahuasi Island (Fish Island) – Walk among giant cacti and ancient coral formations while enjoying stunning panoramic views.
    • Creative Photo Session – Take fun perspective and optical illusion photos on the salt flats.
    • Sunset Experience – Enjoy a magical sunset with wine and chips in the middle of the Uyuni Salt Flats.

Passengers can leave their luggage at our office in Uyuni before the tour and collect it when the tour finishes.

  • Apr - May (Transition Rainy season): Days 15 - 18°C / Nights around 0°C
  • Jun - Aug (Dry winter): Days 10 - 18°C / Nights -1°C to -10°C, windy afternoons.
  • Sep - Dec (Dry season): Days 15 - 18°C / Nights 0 - 5°C

During adverse weather conditions, we are not responsible for rain or snowfall on the route, or for attractions that may be closed due to weather-related circumstances. These situations are beyond our control.

Rainy Season (Mirror Effect) – Jan–Apr: Thin water layer creates a giant mirror—perfect for unique photos. Some areas may flood; February has the best chances of the mirror effect.

Dry Season (Desert Landscape) – May–Nov: Completely dry salt flats with iconic hexagonal patterns—ideal for 4x4 exploration and creative photos. Very cold nights; bring warm clothes and sun protection.

Transition Periods (Best of Both Worlds) – Apr, Nov & Dec: A mix of both seasons—small water mirrors or more stable weather.

Ein Tag voller unvergesslicher Eindrücke

Schon die Anfahrt auf den Salar war spektakulär. Die endlose Weite des weißen Bodens und der klare Himmel vermittelten ein Gefühl völliger Freiheit. Unser Guide erklärte viel über die Geschichte der Region, und wir hatten genügend Zeit, um tolle Fotos zu machen. Besonders beeindruckend war der Aufstieg auf die Isla Incahuasi mit ihren riesigen Kakteen. Den Sonnenuntergang bei einem Glas Wein auf den Salzflächen zu erleben, war der perfekte Abschluss.

Une expérience unique au monde

Ce voyage à Uyuni restera gravé dans mon esprit. Chaque étape était fascinante : le cimetière de trains chargé d’histoire, la visite de Colchani pour découvrir les artisans du sel, et bien sûr la traversée du désert immaculé. Mais le moment le plus magique fut le coucher de soleil où le ciel se reflétait à l’infini sur le sol, donnant l’impression de marcher entre les nuages. Notre guide a su rendre chaque instant spécial avec ses explications et sa gentillesse.

우유니에서 보낸 하루는 특별했습니다

처음 보는 광경들에 연신 감탄했어요. 기차 무덤에서 과거를 느끼고, 콜차니 마을에서 소금 공예품을 구경하며 현지 문화를 체험했습니다. 하얀 소금 사막을 달리면서 바람과 햇살을 느끼는 순간, 세상에서 가장 자유로운 기분이 들었어요. 인카우아시 섬의 선인장들과 석양의 풍경은 제 마음속에 평생 남을 장면이 되었습니다.
