Walking in the sky

The reflections on the salt flats were unlike anything I’ve ever seen. It truly felt like walking in the clouds, with the horizon disappearing and the sky beneath my feet. Our guide encouraged us to take fun photos, and they turned out to be the best souvenirs. Throughout the day, we visited the Train Graveyard and Isla Incahuasi, which were both fascinating. But the moment the water created that mirror effect, I simply stood still, in awe of nature’s masterpiece. When the sun finally set, the sky turned pink and orange, and everything was doubled in the reflection. It’s hard to describe the sense of peace I felt—it was magical beyond words.
