Itinerary

Tour starts at 10:30 a.m.

Visit:

  • Train Graveyard – Explore the rusting remains of Bolivia’s first locomotives, now one of Uyuni’s most iconic photo spots.
  • Colchani Village – Visit local salt workshops and browse handicrafts made from salt, alpaca, and llama wool.
  • Uyuni Salt Flats – Journey across the endless white desert and visit:
    • Ojos de Agua Salada (Saltwater Eyes)
    • Salt Hotel Museum & Playa Blanca
    • Flags of the World
    • Dakar Monument
    • Incahuasi Island (Fish Island) – Walk among giant cacti and ancient coral formations while enjoying stunning panoramic views.
    • Creative Photo Session – Take fun perspective and optical illusion photos on the salt flats.
    • Sunset Experience – Enjoy a magical sunset with wine and chips in the middle of the Uyuni Salt Flats.

  • The tour guide always has many stops everywhere, and he explains about the sightseer places to everybody, so, everybody has the same information. / Also the tour guide participates with everybody.

Passengers can leave their luggage at our office in Uyuni before the tour and collect it when the tour finishes.

During adverse weather conditions, we are not responsible for rain or snowfall on the route, or for attractions that may be closed due to weather-related circumstances. These situations are beyond our control.

Rainy Season (Mirror Effect) – Jan–Apr: Thin water layer creates a giant mirror—perfect for unique photos. Some areas may flood; February has the best chances of the mirror effect.

Dry Season (Desert Landscape) – May–Nov: Completely dry salt flats with iconic hexagonal patterns—ideal for 4x4 exploration and creative photos. Very cold nights; bring warm clothes and sun protection.

Transition Periods (Best of Both Worlds) – Apr, Nov & Dec: A mix of both seasons—small water mirrors or more stable weather.

Ein Naturwunder, das man erlebt haben muss

Der Tag begann mit einer Reise durch die Geschichte im Zugfriedhof. Die alten Lokomotiven standen wie stille Zeugen vergangener Zeiten. Unser Guide erklärte alles sehr lebendig und beantwortete jede Frage. Die Fahrt über den Salar war mein persönliches Highlight. Die endlose Weite, das blendend weiße Salz und die klare Luft vermittelten ein unglaubliches Gefühl von Freiheit. Auf der Isla Incahuasi konnten wir die Natur aus einer neuen Perspektive erleben. Der Sonnenuntergang war schlicht atemberaubend. Mit einem Glas Wein in der Hand und den Spiegelungen des Himmels zu unseren Füßen fühlte ich mich, als wäre ich in einer anderen Welt.

Un voyage qui semble venu d’un autre monde

Dès la première étape au cimetière de trains, j’ai été fascinée par l’histoire de ce lieu unique. Les vieilles locomotives rouillées sur fond de ciel bleu semblaient sorties d’un film. En traversant le salar, je me suis sentie minuscule face à l’infini blanc. L’Isla Incahuasi et ses cactus géants offraient des points de vue à couper le souffle. J’ai adoré la diversité de cette excursion : culture, nature et paysages irréels. Le coucher du soleil a été l’apothéose. Le ciel se reflétant sur le sol donnait l’impression de marcher dans les nuages. C’est une expérience que je n’oublierai jamais.

잊지 못할 소금 사막 투어

투어는 기차 무덤에서 시작해 콜차니 마을로 이어졌습니다. 녹슨 기차들은 과거의 이야기를 들려주는 듯했고, 소금 마을에서 본 전통적인 소금 가공 방식은 매우 흥미로웠습니다. 하얀 소금 사막을 달리면서 느낀 고요함은 말로 표현할 수 없을 만큼 감동적이었어요. 인카우아시 섬에 올라 거대한 선인장을 보며 느낀 감정은 마치 세상 끝에 서 있는 듯한 느낌이었습니다. 마지막으로 석양을 바라보며 와인을 마신 순간, 하늘과 땅이 하나로 이어진 듯한 풍경 속에서 평생 잊지 못할 평화로움을 느꼈습니다.
